Product Hunt Data Explorer ("the Service") is a free tool for browsing and analyzing publicly available Product Hunt launch data. We designed it to add as little privacy impact as possible.

What we collect

We do not ask you to create an account or submit personal information to use the Service.

The database behind the Service contains information that is already public on Product Hunt (product names, taglines, launch dates, vote counts, maker usernames, topics, and similar fields). We do not collect private profile data, messages, or anything that is not publicly visible on Product Hunt.

Like most websites, our hosting infrastructure may automatically process standard technical data when you visit the site — for example IP address, browser type, and request timestamps — for security, rate limiting, and basic operation. We do not use this to build marketing profiles or sell data to third parties.

Cookies

The Service does not use advertising or tracking cookies. If essential session or security cookies are used by the hosting platform, they are limited to operating the site.

The Service is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Product Hunt. Product Hunt is a trademark of its respective owner. We link to producthunt.com where appropriate.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
