FontFace Ninja is a browser extension (Chrome, Firefox and Safari) that let you identify fonts on any website. You can also try, bookmark or buy it. This 4th version brings font identification on images as well, so when the text you see is an image, you'll be able to find similar fonts (this feature is in beta and based on the WhatTheFont2 api)
